What to include in your message
Four details speed everything up: the neighbourhood or nearest crossroads, the age of the roof or the room if you know it, what you are seeing and when it started, and whether an insurance claim is already open. None of them are mandatory, but each one shaves a day off the back-and-forth.
Photos from the ground are useful even when they are blurry. A picture of the ceiling stain, the shingle in the yard or the gutter pulling away from the fascia tells us what to bring on the first visit.
If you have a deadline such as a closing date or a move-out date, say so up front. Scheduling is easier to arrange around a fixed date than to compress later.
What happens after you reach out
You get a reply confirming we received the request and proposing an inspection window. On roofing calls after a storm the window may be a few days out, because the whole county calls at once and we work the list in order.
At the inspection we walk the property, photograph what we find and talk you through it on the spot. The written scope follows by email, usually within two business days, and lists every task with its material and sequence.
Emergency leaks
If water is coming through a ceiling right now, describe it as an active leak in the first line of your message. Active leaks go to the front of the queue for a temporary dry-in, which means a tarp or a patch that stops the water until the permanent repair is scheduled.
While you wait, move furniture and electronics away from the drip, put a bucket under it, and if the ceiling is bulging, poke a small hole with a screwdriver at the lowest point to let the water out in a controlled way. A ceiling that drains slowly is far cheaper to repair than one that collapses.
Service area
We cover Clarksville and the rest of Montgomery County, including Sango, Woodlawn, St Bethlehem and the neighbourhoods around Fort Campbell, plus Oak Grove across the Kentucky line. Adams, Pleasant View and Springfield to the east are within regular range.
For addresses further out, ask. Larger replacement jobs are worth the drive; a single-shingle repair in the next county may not be, and we will tell you honestly.
Insurance and documentation
If you are filing a claim, mention it so the inspection photos are taken and labelled in the format your adjuster expects. We can meet the adjuster on site at the time of their visit and walk the roof with them, which prevents the common problem of damage being missed from the ground.
